My son came home from school yesterday all excited to tell me that April 19th is the 238th anniversary of the Shot Heard Around The World. This marked the beginning of the American Revolutionary War to achieve independence from a harsh task master, Great Britain who had zero consideration for an individuals' rights. Victory brought a whole set of Civil Rights given to the People written in the American Constitution. These rights are what have made America and Americans different than any other nation or people.
One of those Civil Rights is in danger of being infringed (limited) in the hands of a few powerful men in Washington DC. Ironically, despite the majority of the nation wanting government to keep their hands off our 2nd Amendment Civil Rights, the U.S. Senate held a vote to put requirements and restrictions on your right to bear arms. This week was considered a loss for the left with even Majority Leader Harry Reid voting against the intrusive law to limit a persons Civil Right to bear arms.
The Liberal Media: Persecuted Palin, Now they’re Bashing Bachmann.
Conservatives have few stronger voices than Michelle Bachmann, when it comes to fighting the Obama regime, the liberal-worshipping media does not like it! The left pulled no punches in their vicious attacks on Sarah Palin, and now they’re doing the same to Michele Bachmann.
The liberal media is attacking Bachmann in the same offensively way they slandered and berated Sarah Palin. Name calling, character attacks, unfounded insults – Anything to distract the American people from Congressman Bachmann’s work to promote our Conservative ideals and protect our Constitution. We cannot sit back and let the liberal machine attempt to intimidate our women warriors and derail the conservative movement.
Will you join us in defending Michelle Bachmann so that we can stand behind Michelle?

This morning fellow Woman Warrior, Michelle Malkin, did it again with her recent article calling out the Left and their attack on American Women:
"If radical gun-grabbers have their way, your daughters, mothers and grandmothers will have nothing but whistles, pens and bodily fluids to defend themselves against violent attackers and sexual predators. Women of all ages, races and political backgrounds should be up in arms over the coordinated attack on their right to bear arms... Time to fight back like a girl, as one of my favorite female Second Amendment advocates Sarah Palin likes to say."

When an intruder enters your home, threatening your safety and your family's well being, it is a time to be thankful you own a gun. These two women certainly were:

The liberal media wants to hide stories like these, and push their deluded agenda that guns are evil. They want to hide the truth…the truth that a woman with a gun can protect herself, her home and her family. They want to suppress the message that guns save innocent lives. Help Women Warriors spread the truth on a national level and fight the liberal media’s attempts to help steal a woman’s right to protect herself! WE DON'T NEED CONGRESS ANYMORE!
I AM the President With Executive Order!

After watching President Obama's final first-term news conference Monday and reading the transcript, I imagined that that is what Barack Obama is thinking. Here is just 45 seconds of the 15 minute presser:
Reporter: "On the issue of guns, what are you willing or able to do, using the powers of your presidency, to act without Congress?"
Obama: "The challenge that we confront is, that even the slightest hint of some sensible, responsible legislation in this area fans this notion that somehow, here it comes and everybody's guns are going to be taken away."
(He expressed this sentiment many times that the gun owners rights are not being infringed upon and yet he sees that it is his right to bypass Congress on tightening up on guns- read on)
"But I'm confident that there are some steps that we can take that don't require legislation and that are within my authority as President. And where you get a step that has the opportunity to reduce the possibility of gun violence then I want to go ahead and take it."
It should come as no surprise then that Obama will announce his Congress- Bypassing-Gun-Control proposal this week, Politico is reporting that it will include 19 "executive actions."
Schmarotzer is German for "freeloader"

As we head into this Holiday season I consider some of the things I'm most grateful for. I am extremely grateful that in 1954 when my grandparents sailed to America, they weren't looking for a free home or free car or handouts of any kind. They were freedom seekers not free loaders. I know that my hardworking grandpa passed through Ellis Island with his very pregnant wife with the hope that his two hands would be free to build anything his mind could dream up. My dad was born one month after my grandparents reached the United States of America, and because of that my life and family were forever impacted.
Things could have ended up differently for them immigrating to the US under a different system. I want to share with you some impressions I have about what our country offered to immigrants vs what it currently offers. My dad recently sent me a website built and promoted by the US Government. The site is called WelcometotheUSA.gov celebrate citizenship, learn about America. The site is designed as a manual for newcomers to help them get situated. Knowing the steps my grandpa went through and the difficulty and rewarding process it was to become a citizen I was curious to see how the process compared. I have copied directly from the website the benefits of immigrating to the US. Those benefits have changed dramatically over the past 60 years:
"Depending on your immigration status, length of time in the United States, and income, you may be eligible for some federal benefit programs. Government assistance programs can be critically important to the well-being of some immigrants and their families. Frequently, however, there is a lack of information about how to access such benefits. Benefit programs can be complicated and you may be given misleading information about how they operate. The links will lead you to official government websites describing a range of assistance programs: federal benefits, medicare, medicais, Social Security, supplimental security income, food stamp program, TANF, etc."
I wondered what my family would have been like if rather than a hand up my grandpa was offered a hand-out. I looked into how welfare generally has effected our society over the past few decades and here is what I found:
Welfare, formally named Aid to Families With Dependent Children, began with the passage of the Social Security Act in 1935 under President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a piece of legislation that dramatically increased citizens’ dependence on the government. In 1993 the former Congressional Budget Office director, Dr. June O’Neill, performed a study on the effects of increasing welfare benefits. CBO director discovered that a 50 percent increase in AFDC and food stamp benefits on a monthly basis begot a 75 percent increase in the number of women on the AFDC dole. Women also were staying on these programs longer. Relying on welfare for extended periods of time only increases the likelihood that one will remain in poverty. (quoted from pennlive.com ).
According to a Heritage Foundation article that discusses how welfare harms kids, they found that a 50 percent increase in monthly AFDC and food stamp benefit levels caused a 43 percent increase in the number of illegitimate births within a state. Illegitimacy, in turn, has an enormous negative effect on children's development and on their behavior as adults. Being born outside of marriage and raised in single parent homes:
I then considered my grandma and grandpas situation and how difficult it might have been for them to escape or decline a system of welfare slavery, when immigrating to a new country can be so hard, and government benefits might seem too attractive to turn down. The good news for me is that my family was never enticed into that cycle as those massive government dependence programs weren't available and sold to my grandparents at Ellis Island.

“Hi all. I’m in profound mourning and I’ve cried a ton of tears today. I just can’t be around it anymore. We lost a valiant fight to save our country, but unfortunately we lost.” – A Grandmother from California
“Bondage and mediocrity. Isn't that what the new American dream is all about?”- American citizen mother from Ecuador
Do you feel like we lost the final battle and it’s time to wait for the inevitable? I want to tell you a secret… this is America. Trust me... this is a good thing. If Romney had won, the American people would have gone back to sleep. We know we can't do that... in this scenario America Wins my friend. America is going to win despite the progressives socialist agenda. It doesn’t matter who the President is. Now is not the time to sit down, now is the time to act. America will win because of YOU!
Yesterday I met with the National Spokesperson for the Congress of Racial Equality, Niger Innis to talk about the election.
"What you are doing with your Women Warriors and our Join America program is critical, CRITICAL! We are not quite finished yet as a country. We're in trouble, but not finished yet. If we mess up 2014, we're toast. In that future Obama may change the lame duck Amendment, for all we know among so many other treats."

Here is what Women NEED to know:
1. Women are the hardest hit demographic under an Obama Administration:
* Unemployment for Women has doubled.
* Price of gas doubled.
* Household expenses (like energy) are skyrocketing.
2. Obama’s Campaign pushes the contraception topic to evade the real issues Women care about: Jobs & Economy
Our two mothers, their daughters and film/editing crew are working hard to complete this ad in English and Spanish this weekend. We need your help to get it on the air in key battleground states and to spread it across the nation. Even the smallest amount helps, so if you can give up your next $10 meal at McDonalds or something similar that you can cut, we promise that we will put that money to good use in our fight for our country and fight the barrage of attacks on women and families.

According to Obama Campaign, the only things "real" women care about are aborting their children and getting free birth control. Well, we at the Women Warrior's PAC are here to say not just, "No" but "hell no" to that message.
WE think that’s just garbage, and some of America’s leading grassroots Conservative Women have prepared THIS VIDEO to debunk these lies and encourage real women to stand together this election. HELP US PUT THIS MESSAGE IN FRONT OF EVERY AMERICAN WOMAN –CLICK HERE TO DONATE JUST $25, $50, OR $100 AND TOGETHER WE CAN STOP THE LIES AND WIN THIS ELECTION!”
